Wanda Marie Pullig passed into Heaven April 15 in San Angelo Texas.
Wanda was born on Sept. 23, 1921 to Walter and Mary Rambo in Bangs, Texas. She married Paul Davis Pullig on Sept. 9, 1939. Mr. Pullig was in the navy during World War II and she moved to California to be near him until he was deployed to the Pacific. However she spent most of her life in Brownwood, Texas. She was an avid Avon salesman for many years. She was a volunteer at Brownwood Regional Medical Center and attended Coggin Avenue Baptist Church.
The joys of her life were her children and grandchildren. She answered to “Mama Pullig” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, and her son, Gary Lynn Pullig; her parents; and two sisters, and three brothers. Survivors are her daughter, Cynthia Bradley; grandchildren Keely Wolfe, Chris and Anissa Pullig, Kacie and Steve Layman , Kent Bradley, and Taryn Bradley. Great grandchildren are J.P. Wolfe, Jordan Layman, Jacob Layman, Keeler Pullig, and Kade Bradley.
Arrangements are at Heartland Funeral Home in Brownwood. A graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Cemetery Wed. April 18 at 11:00 A.M.
