Wanda Lee Bell, age 81, of Brownwood went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 10, 2013, peacefully at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 14, 2013, at Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood with Rev. David Barnum officiating. Wanda was born February 9, 1931, in Brownwood to Leroy and Millie Cunningham. She married Elzie Bell in 1977, and was a lifelong resident of Brownwood.
Wanda was proud of her career as a waitress and she worked in various restaurants in the Brownwood area. She was a vivacious, colorful person and was known as quite a character. Wanda enjoyed collecting dolls and was a contributor to the Battered Women’s Shelter in Brownwood.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Coker and husband Kerry of Belton, Texas; sons, Ralph Duncan and wife Robin of Palmdale, California, Ronnie Duncan of Palmdale, California and Ricky Clutter of Lancaster, California; sisters Joann Mills of Brownwood and Cynthia Eagleton of Brownwood; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Bell; sisters, Alma Sledge, Maxine Owen and brother, Mack McCarty, Jr. Condolences may be left for the family at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
