Walter Eudean Rayburn was born in Albany, California to John and Martha Rayburn on May 29, 1952. He went back to God on May 24, 2015. He was a Dad, Grandpa, Great-grandpa, Brother, and Son. He is greatly missed.
“Walt” or “Eudean” grew up in California. He learned the drywall trade from his father at a very young age and worked in drywall his entire life.
He is survived by his father and step-mother John and Jean Rayburn of California; his daughter, Traci Thacker and her husband Michael of Brownwood; his son, Damon Rayburn and his wife Krishawna of Brownwood; siblings, Bill and Devra Rayburn of Houston, Linda and Kenny Cowan of California, Mike and Kathy Rayburn of California, and Ben Davis of California. Grandchildren, Amber Barrow, Kara Rayburn, Kelsey Elliott, Michael Damon Thacker, and Amber Smith. Great-grandchildren, Kaci and Staci Barrow; numerous nieces and nephews and, former wives and friends, Sherrie Ivey and Trish Andrues.He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Lee Hooker.
A memorial service will be held at Heartland Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 30th, at 2:00 pm.
