Vivian Inez Berniard age 66 of Brownwood passed away Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Colegrove officiating. Interment will follow in the Bangs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, evening at Blaylock Funeral Home.

Vivian was born April 8, 1945, to Horton and Martha Bryant in Millington, Tenn. A resident of Brownwood since 1973 where she owned and operated Natures Health Food store for over 30 years, and was a member of the Brownwood Evangelism Center.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Berniard, Brian Berniard and Chris Berniard and wife Keisha; two daughters, Rhonda Jefferson and Tammie Smith and husband Kenneth; 15 grandchildren, Tonya Dennis, Tiffanie Berniard, Bryanna Berniard, Marcus Berniard, Rachael Berniard, Latisha Berniard, Cheyenne Berniard, Zachary Berniard, Morgan Berniard, Ashley Hendricks, Gregory Jefferson, Unique Jefferson, Gavin Jefferson, Kenneth Smith Jr, and Stephen Smith; two great-grandchildren Deviante and Ania Dennis; eight Bryant siblings and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Randy Berniard, and a brother Larry Bryant.
