Graveside services for Virgil Lee Glaze, Jr., age 39, of Venus will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 2 PM at Jenkins Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Mr. Glaze died December 25, 2015.
Virgil was born on June 3, 1976 in Brownwood, Texas. He was a truck driver, something he always wanted to be, along with being a cowboy. He was quick to make a joke, loved cowboying and was known to “Virgilize” any and everything. He loved going to the rodeo. Virgil was “one hell of a man and a good friend.”
Those left behind to cherish her memories are his wife, Carol Foster; mother Annie Edgar, stepfather, Darrel King; two sisters, Lavada McDaniel and husband, Todd, and Sherry Kinard and husband, Chuck; grandmother Mary Lou Edgar; special cousin Jimmy Squyres and wife Tina and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his “kids”, English Bulldogs Spice and Bandit and granddogger, Bug.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, George Edgar and aunt, Joy Edgar.
