In a hard fought game, the Victory Life Academy Warriors football team suffered their first loss of the season Friday night against the Granbury Happy Hill Pioneers with a final score of 84-75.
The two teams exchanged the lead throughout the game, but a pair of touchdowns late in the fourth quarter by the Pioneers secured their victory.
The Warriors had 550 total yards of offense to the Pioneers’ 590. VLA’s Tyler McDaniel was 19 of 34 in passing with 249 yards. McDaniel also rushed for 288 yards with 6 touchdowns.
The Warriors go to 8-1 on the season and will play Wichita Falls Christ Academy next Friday.
