The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3278 will host an upcoming dinner to honor some special people.
The VFW and Ladies Auxiliary are honoring ex-POWs, Blue Star mothers, Silver Star mothers and Gold Star mothers on September 9 beginning at 6pm.
There will be a POW/MIA ceremony that night as well as a reading of a proclamation to Blue Star mothers that was given by President Bush last year.
