The VFW Post 3278 and Ladies Auxiliary will have two fundraisers at the end of May for their Relay for Life team.
Thursday, May 26th they will have a SPECIAL BINGO session. The will have an extra session with all the proceeds going to Relay for Life. There will also be a canned food drive – for every CANNED food item brought you will receive a ticket for a drawing to take place that evening for (2) $25 cash prizes….there will also be caps and dobbers for sale with all proceeds going to Relay for Life. Session begins at 7pm, card sales will begin at 6pm…concession stand will be available. VFW Post 3278 is located at 2300 Stephen F. Austin. For more info call 325-646-8113 from 10am to 6pm.
Friday May 27th the VFW will have a brisket lunch. Plates will be $8/each or brisket can be purchased by the pound for $8/lb. Plates will consist of brisket, beans, potato salad, onions and pickles. This is Memorial Day Weekend as well as graduation weekend, so let the VFW help with the meal. Please call in advance for orders of more than 3 pounds so they will have enough for everyone. Delivery will be available in Brownwood area. Orders will be taken in advance at 325-646-8113 … or 325-641-0155 can be used on the day of the luncheon.
