Nearly 30 first responders were honored with a breakfast as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3278 and the Ladies and Men’s Auxiliaries observed the 10th Anniversary of the attack on America.  The VFW event on Sunday was a prayer observance marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

The Post hosted the county’s first responders with a breakfast served from 5:00-8:00 AM. The Post invited all law enforcement, fire departments, and EMS personnel to attend.

Pictured below is the Flag of Honor which reads, “This flag was created from the names of all of those who perished in the terrorist attacks of 9/11.  Now and forever it represents their immortality, we shall never forget them.”   A shadow box is being built to frame the Flag of Honor which will be displayed in the VFW Post soon.
