Vera Violet Kinsey, age 95, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 in Sterling City, Texas.
Graveside services for Ms. Kinsey will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Grit Cemetery in Grit, Texas. Family Visitation will be held an hour prior, from 1pm to 2pm.
Ms. Kinsey was born on Monday, August 16, 1920 to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Wright in Stanton, Texas. She married Jack Kinsey and was married for 25 years. Ms. Kinsey loved gardening, sowing, dancing, and country music as well as being a ranch wife.
She is survived by 2 Sons and 1 Daughter-in-law Arvil & Mary Lou Kinsey of Sterling City, Texas, and James (Ricky) Kinsey of Bangs, Texas; 3 Granddaughters Sheila & Noel Barrientes of Midland, Texas, Vanessa Kinsey of Houston, Texas, and Alicia & Jason Stock of Georgetown, Texas; 4 Grandsons Jack & Lara Kinsey of San Angelo, Texas, Cody James & Danielle Kinsey of Brownwood, Texas, James Lee Kinsey of Bangs, Texas, and Clinton & Sara Kinsey of Colorado; 15 Great-Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Charlie Wright, Husband Arlice (Jack) Kinsey, 3 brothers Spencer Wright, Ira Wright, and Floyd Wright, one daughter-in-law Cynthia Lee Kinsey of Bangs, Texas.
