Brownwood Police officer Chris Hill submitted a report regarding a vehicle striking a building and leaving the scene of the accident.
Hill’s report states that he arrived at Quality Body Works in the 400 block of W. Austin on the morning of September 22nd.
The report states that workers discovered damage to the sheet metal of the exterior of the building from a vehicle hitting it during the night. Debris from the vehicle were also left behind. Damage was also done to the sign pole of the business and the sidewalk.
Hill’s report also states that a neighbor reported to have heard the crash and saw a vehicle leave the scene.
The owner of the business estimates that $2500 of damage was done due to crash.
