Vacation Garden School is only a week away. The program will run July 7-11, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Now is the time to register—please click here for a registration form, then mail the form with your payment of $25 per student.
Registration forms are also available at the Brownwood Public Library, TX Agri-Life Extension office, or the Central Texas Opportunities office on Dublin Street next to the Garden.
There is no mail delivery this Friday, July 4th, so the last chance for registration will be at the Community Garden, this coming Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. No registrations will be accepted after this time.
Vacation Garden School is a fun way for 8-12 year-olds to learn about the basics of organic gardening including community awareness, ecology, water, soil and compost, and plants and animals, all in an outdoor classroom setting.
