The Early Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire Wednesday night around 10:35 PM after a caller reported that a vacant house in the 300 block of County Road 615 was fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters arrived on scene and found the frame house to be about three-quarters engulfed. The Early firefighters quickly got the blaze under control, but the fire destroyed most of the living area of the house and most of the roof.
The fire is currently under investigation and no information was available about the cause.
Early Volunteer Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Early Police Department responded to the scene of the fire.
