Brownwood News – U.S. Representative K. Michael Conaway (R-Texas) will hold a town hall meeting at the Brownwood Chamber of Commerce, located at 600 E. Depot, in Brownwood from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2nd. The town hall is open to the public.
During the recent Texas Republican Primary Elections for Representative for District 11, incumbent Mike Conaway received 3,928 votes to his challenger Paul Myers’ 793 votes in Brown County. Currently serving his seventh term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Conaway represents 29 counties in Texas’ 11th congressional district, including the cities of Midland, Odessa and San Angelo.
Conaway was asked to lead the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections (with assistance from Trey Gowdy and Tom Rooney) after the Intelligence Committee chair, Devin Nunes, recused himself.
