Texas Department of Transportation will host 25 open house events in cities across the state, including Brownwood, asking the public for input to guide the development of the Texas Transportation Plan 2040 – the state’s multimodal, long-range transportation plan.
Brownwood is on the schedule for Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM at the Brownwood TxDOT District Office, located at 2495 US 183 N. Other meetings throughout the state will be held from Monday, June 9th through August 5th. For the list of open house locations and times, click here.
At the open houses, attendees can review displays, talk with staff and provide input using an interactive prioritization tool. Public input will help TxDOT develop priorities for the Texas Transportation Plan 2040.Those with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aides or services are requested to contact Ximenes & Associates at (210) 354-2925 three business days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
Public comments will be accepted throughout the development of the Texas Transportation Plan until Sept. 1, 2014. Written comments may be submitted by email or by USPS mail to:
