Two cars collided at the intersection of Brooks and 4th Streets in Brownwood Wednesday afternoon sending one of the drivers to the hospital.
According to Brownwood Police, a beige Lincoln was traveling east on Brooks when its elderly male driver failed to yield the right of way to a red Ford Mustang which was traveling south on 4th Street causing the collision.
The mustang’s driver was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. The mustang received considerable damage to its front-end and the air bag did not deploy.
The Lincoln’s driver received minor injuries, and his vehicle received an impact on its back panel on the passenger side.
