Two vehicles collided at the intersection of 10th Street and Avenue L Wednesday afternoon, damaging both vehicles but with only minor injuries to one occupant.
According to the driver of one vehicle, the accident occurred when a Chevy crew cab pickup was traveling northwest on 10th Street when it was struck by a single cab Chevy pickup which was traveling southwest on Avenue L.The collision caused the first pickup to jump the curb with the driver’s side front wheel. Both vehicles came to a stop in the oncoming lane of traffic. The first pickup sustained damage along the passenger side of the vehicle and the front end. The other pickup sustained damage to the front driver’s side quarter panel and front end.
One of the occupants of the single cab pickup appeared to have a minor injury to her knee.
