Brownwood Wreck TX

Brownwood first responders were called to the scene of a three-vehicle accident Sunday evening at the corner of U.S. Highway 377S and 15th Street in Brownwood.

A collision between an older model Ford pickup, a small Dodge pickup and a GMC Envoy occurred at approximately 7:00 PM.

According to witnesses on scene, the Ford pickup driven by an elderly couple was traveling south on Hwy 377 when it turned left and was stuck by the Dodge which was traveling north on Hwy 377.  The collision caused the Ford pickup to slide into a GMC Envoy which was occupied by four teenagers (ages 14-17) at the stop sign on 15th Street.

The passenger of the Ford, a woman reported to be in her 90s, was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center with undisclosed injuries.

A second ambulance was called to the scene to transport the passenger of the Dodge, a female with an injured ankle, to BRMC for evaluation and treatment of her injury.  The occupants of the Envoy were not injured in the collision.

Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department, and Guardian EMS were called to the scene.
