Emergency responders were kept busy as two motor vehicle accidents occurred within 20 minutes of each other Tuesday evening.
At approximately 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a Ford F-150 pickup and Ford Edge collided in the intersection of Cordell and Beaver Streets. There were no reported injuries. The pickup recieved minimal damage to its front end and the Edge sustained damage to the driver’s side and rear of the vehicle.
While investigating this accident, another two-vehicle accident was dispatched on Indian Creek at Countryside Drive just before 7:00 p.m. A small Kia four door passenger vehicle collided with a Nissan Pathfinder. The Kia sustained significant front end damage. No injuries were reported at the scene of this accident; however the Kia was towed from the scene.
Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene of both accidents.
