Press Release – On Wednesday, February 15, 2017, officers with the Brownwood Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant in the 3500blk of Rhodes Rd.
During the execution of this warrant, officers recovered a large quantity of methamphetamine along with quantities of cocaine and MDMA (aka ecstasy). Additionally, officers recovered materials that were being used to facilitate the distribution of illegal drugs. At the conclusion of the search warrant, 39yr old Christina Moreno and 28yr old Ricky Guerra of Brownwood were each arrested and charged with the possession of controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
Christina Moreno is currently being held at the Brown County Jail on a $75,000 bond. Ricky Guerra is currently being held at the Brown County Jail on bonds totaling $102,500.
This investigation is part of an ongoing investigation and more arrests are anticipated. The community is encouraged to contact the Brown County Law Enforcement Center or Crime Stoppers with any information related to the use or distribution of illegal drugs in the Brown County area.
