A special Constitutional Amendment Election will be held November 8, 2011 and Tuesday, October 11th will be the final day to register to vote in this election.
Due to the Columbus Day holiday, the Brown County Elections Office will be closed, so voters are encouraged to come in Tuesday to register. Early voting will be October 24th-November 4th from 8:00am until 5:00pm daily. Mail ballot applications must be received by 5:00pm on November 1, 2011.
Voters within the Brookesmith ISD will also vote on a tax ratification and rollback taxes. The Brookesmith ISD extends into portions of four precincts (109, 101, 113, and 410).
