Emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of W. Commerce and Bluffview Drive Tuesday evening.
Shortly before 5:30 p.m., a Geo Tracker collided with a Dodge Charger, injuring the male driver of the Tracker who was transported by Guardian EMS to Brownwood Regional Medical Center. The driver of the Charger was reported to be uninjured at the time of the accident.
According to the driver of the Dodge Charger, she was traveling down Bangs Hill on W. Commerce when the Tracker pulled onto W. Commerce, striking the passenger side of her vehicle. The sun shining over the hilltop may have been a contributing factor to the accident, and the driver of the Charger said that she didn’t know if the other driver saw her traveling down the hill.
Brownwood Police Department, Brownwood Fire Department and Guardian EMS responded to the scene.
