TSTC held their Allied Health Showcase on Friday, May 13 at their Brownwood campus welcome center, introducing prospective students to the programs offered at TSTC.

Local high school students came during the morning session and non-traditional adult prospects were offered a session in the afternoon. Programs showcased included Emergency Medical Services, Chemical Dependency Counseling, Health Information Technology, Vocational Nursing and LVN to RN Transition.

Instructors spoke to students regarding the course length, description and average salaries received by graduates.  Several instructors stated that allied health programs lead to well-paying careers that are currently in great demand across the state.

Representatives from Western Hills Healthcare Residence of Comanche, Lifeguard Ambulance, and Air Evac Lifeteam were also present at the event.
