Press Release – Texas State Technical College will host an Allied Health Programs Highlight Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29th, at the Brownwood campus, located at 305 Booker Street. Interested students and their families can visit the campus to learn about Emergency Medical Services, Chemical Dependency Counseling and Health Information Technology.
Attendees will learn more about the programs through hands-on activities and faculty presentations. The Emergency Medical Services program will teach hands-only CPR, and Chemical Dependency Counseling will hold a “beer goggles” obstacle course to demonstrate the dangerous effects of intoxication.
Representatives from TSTC Student Recruitment, Financial Aid and Career Services will also be on campus to assist any students with questions or registering. Lunch will be provided.
