Troy L. Hanley, loving husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord Thursday May 9, 2013 at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
Services for will be held at 10:00am Monday May 13th at Bangs Church of Christ with Milton Langston and Aaron LeMond officiating, interment will follow at Bangs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday May 12th from 3-5pm at Blaylock Funeral Home.
Troy was born on November 11, 1927 to Charles and Maggie Hanley in Voss, Texas. On December 15, 1947 Troy married Joyce Darlene Martin, they were married 65 blessed years with three kids. He was a member of the Bangs Church of Christ for many years and worked as a farmer and carpenter.
He is survived by his wife Darlene Hanley of Bangs; sons Michael Hanley and wife Maryln of Bangs, Stephen Hanley and wife Marianne of Kerrville; daughter Diana Early and husband David of Bangs; brother James O. Hanley of Liberty Hill; sister-in-law Billie R. Hanley of Aledo; fourteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents; brother Charles Boyd Hanley; and sister Winnie O. Medcalf.
