Troy Earl Parsons, age 66 of Earl,y passed from this life on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his residence.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 PM on Sunday, June 7, at Heartland Funeral Home.
A chapel service will be 10:00 AM on Monday, June 8, in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.
Troy was born on Wednesday, June 17, 1953 to Newell and Bonnie Parsons in Brownwood. Troy was a lifetime resident of Brownwood and worked for the Brown County Sheriff’s Department for 31 years until he retired.
He is survived by his sons, Jimmy Self and wife Mary Ann and Jason Parsons and their mom Cindy Parsons; his girlfriend Kimberly Colwell; brothers, Ricky Parsons and Ivan Parsons; sister-in-law Linda Parsons; grandchildren, Jasmin Holy, Dennis Moss, Sterling Self and 3 great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews in the Brownwood area.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents Newell and Edith Parsons and his brother Kenneth Parsons.
