Trevor Aaron Michael Wright, age 18, went to be with the Lord and his mother on January 9, 2013, at his home in Early, TX, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Funeral Services for Trevor will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013, at Davis Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave., Brownwood with Keegan Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
Trevor was born to Latricia Wright on January 8, 1995, in Brownwood, TX, and lived all of his life in Brownwood and Early. He was a student at Early High School and employed at Sonic Drive-In in Early, TX. He was a member of Indian Gap Baptist Church. Trevor was very devoted to his faith in the Lord. He was an inspiration to each and everyone’s lives that he touched. He was a very loving son, brother, cousin, and friend. Trevor was a very happy person. Trevor also had another house he called home. It was at the home of his beloved cousins, Wade and Matt Lowrey, and parents, Mike and Tammy Lowrey. Trevor will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
A special thank you to all of Trevor’s friends who were in attendance, called, or texted birthday wishes for Trevor on January 8, 2013, for his 18th birthday party. The party was something Trevor had been looking forward to, and his friends made this occasion very special for Trevor.
Trevor is survived by his maternal grandmother, Mickey Wright; his life- long parents (aunt & uncle), Becki and Tony Cook who were parents to Trevor in absence of his mother; one sister, Kendra Cook of Early/Lubbock TX; grandparents, Dub and Janie Cook of Piggott, Arkansas; two brothers, Travis Blackstock of May, TX, and Rowdy Dickey of Early; aunt and uncle Chrissy and Eddie Dawson of May; cousins, Joshua Dawson and wife Amy and their daughter, Brynlee, of Fairfield, CA, and Jerrett Dawson and wife Amanda of Cedar Hill, TX; Uncle Kenny Cook and wife Cathy and their 3 children, Brittany, Kayla and Cody of Batesville Arkansas. Trevor is also survived by his dad and step-mother, Apericio and Antoinette Puentes; one brother, Austin Puentes; 2 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters of St. Louis, Missouri; grandparents, Apericio, Sr. and wife, Jane Puentes of Brownwood, TX; grandmother, Frances Roney of St. Louis, MO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and too many inspirational friends to name individually.
Also, a special thanks to everyone who provided their time to sit with Trevor and everyone who brought food and was with us in prayer in our time of need. Also, thank you to Light House Hospice and nurses.
