Funeral Services for Treva Fuston Davis, age 61, of Brownwood will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015, at New Life Assembly of God with Pastor Jeff Pieprzyca officiating, interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Treva went to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, August 5, 2015. She was a loving wife and mother, whom will be greatly missed.
Treva was born on May 9, 1954, to C.G. and Goldie (Dawson) Fuston in McAllister, Okalhoma. She graduated from Early High School where she played basketball and volleyball; she was also Early’s first Longhorn mascot. After high school, she attended Ranger College on a basketball scholarship and earned an Associate’s Degree. Treva married her soul mate, David Davis, on July 10, 1983 in Brownwood. She was a dedicated member of New Life Assembly of God and was on the Board of Trustees for the church. Treva loved hunting, being outdoors, watching sports and especially the Texas Rangers.
Treva was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, David Davis of Brownwood; daughter Brittany Kilgore and husband Justin of Stephenville; two sisters, Pat Socia and husband Melvin of Jacksonville, Judy Hankins and husband David of Granbury; brother, Coy Fuston and Glenda of Abilene; aunt, Cozadean Martin of Dallas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
