The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce has added the “Treats for Santa Bake-off” competition to this year’s Christmas Under the Stars Festival.
Santa likes his treats, and area bakers can enter the contest to show off their skills in several categories including pies, cakes, bars/brownies, cookies, bread/rolls, and muffins.
The contest will take place on the second day of the festival, Saturday, December 3rd in the Bertrand Technology Solutions meeting room at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce offices. Baked goods will only be accepted on December 3rd from 3-4pm and judging will begin at 4:30pm.
Scoring for each treat will be based on taste, appearance, and originality.
Cost is $10 per entry and cash prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Entry forms are available at the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce or online at BrownwoodChamber.org. For more information, call the Chamber at 325-646-9535.
