Treasa Louise Harper Christy, age 50, passed away on Friday September 6, 2019 in Abilene, Texas. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Treasa was born in Pomona California to Robert and Patricia (Guerin) Harper. Shortly after she was born her family moved to Corpus Christy, Texas. She attended Bishop High School in Bishop, Texas. Her father was in the military and they moved to Singapore for a few years, then moved back to Texas.
Treasa lived in Brownwood and Bangs before moving to Abilene with the love of her life Christopher Simmons. Treasa had a difficult life at times but always bounced back. She was always there for her kids and their friends, whether it was for advice, just to talk, a place to stay or for a ride somewhere. She would help other people in need, she was a very giving person. Treasa wanted to be an organ donor, so she will continue to help people even after her life ended. Just another way she showed just how loving, giving and caring person she was.
Treasa has four wonderful children and many grand children and she loved them dearly.
Treasa is survived by Life partner Christopher Simmons, her son Shawn Harper of Brownwood three daughters, Tiffany Bostick of Brownwood, Stephanie Wishert and husband Corey of Bangs and Cortney Vincent and Justin of Brownwood. Grand children, Aiden, Tucker, Reese, Benjamin, Miley, Lexa, Ella, Mackenzie and many other adopted children too. Two brothers: John Harper and wife Margie of San Antonio and Kevin Harper of Huston, Texas and wife Patty. Treasa was loved by so many people and will be miss dearly.
Her children will have memorial celebration at a later date.
