Early Police released the following report regarding a traffic stop that resulted in an arrest for felony possession of marijuana:
Saturday at 11:55 am, Officer Johnny Brown stopped a 2004 Chevrolet Impala for a window tint violation in the 500 block of Early Blvd.
Officer Brown identified the driver as 18-year-old Gabriel Gleason of Early. While talking with Gleason and issuing a citation for no driver’s license and no insurance, Officer Brown could smell an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Officer Brown searched the vehicle and located 3 bags of marijuana weighing over 2 ounces. Gleason was placed under arrest for felony possession of marijuana over 2 oz.
