Funeral services for Tonya Renee Alexander, 46, of Brownwood, formerly of Tennessee, will be held at a later date. She was cremated, under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations.
Ms. Alexander died on Friday, September 14, 2012, at her home in Brownwood.
Tonya Renee’ Alexander was born on December 17, 1965, to Ray Lawrence Alexander and Ollie Ann Bibby Alexander, in El Dorado Arkansas. She had worked in the medical field as a nurse and had just moved to Brownwood to be with her family at the time of her death.
She is survived by her children, Candace and Derek Allbriton of Louisiana and Nicholas McAfee of Tennessee; brothers and sisters, Linda Banta of West Monroe Louisiana, Stephanie Pickering of Monticello Arizona, Wanda Taylor, Renée Free, Gary Castle of Missouri and Deborah Holdiness and Jeff Rauls of Brownwood. She is also survived by her father, Ray Alexander of Mississippi and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Cates.
