Funeral services for Tommy Lee Kelly, age 75, of Early, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2016 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Ailshie officiating. Interment will follow in the Trickham Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
Tommy passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
Tommy was born in Ira, Texas on February 17, 1940 to Martin and Dorothy (Brooks) Kelly. He married Frances Talley on July 22, 1960 in Brownwood. Tommy had a 33 year career with 3M Company before his retirement.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances Kelly of Early; a daughter, Rhonda Kelly Petty, granddaughter, Megan Petty and great-granddaughter, Riley Kelly Anderson, all of Flower Mound; a son Matt Kelly and wife Dawn and three grandsons, Griffin, Harris, and Ryder, and a granddaughter Reagan, all of Austin.He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Betty Wright.
