Tommy Floyd, 64, of Coleman, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at Hendrick Medical Center.  Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Bob Martin officiating.  Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.

He was born Thomas Lee Floyd on September 23, 1951 in Coleman to A.L. “Pete” Floyd and Wanda Rush Floyd.  He grew up in Coleman and graduated from Coleman High School.  He worked at the Coca-Cola Plant, Deer Processing Plant and was also a Police Officer with the Coleman Police Department.  Tommy also coached little league baseball and was a member of the Elm Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include three children, Thomas Lee Floyd, Jr. of Coleman, Catrena Stewart of Coleman, Christopher Lynn Floyd of San Angelo; one sister, Linda Christian of Louisiana; four grandchildren, Joshua Barrett of Coleman, Ranee Aurelleno of Santa Anna, Alexis Smith of Coleman, Aiden Smith of Coleman; four great-grandchildren, Gunner Barrett of Coleman, Kylie Barrett of Coleman, Lydia Aurelleno of Santa Anna, Kylee Weiss of Santa Anna and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Wanda Floyd.
