Tommy Alan Sedam Sr., age 75, of Lake Proctor, Texas passed away Thursday, February 6, 2013 in Deleon, Texas. His family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
Mr. Sedam was born on December 26, 1938 in Monongahel, Pennsylvania to Glenn and Dorothy Gillingham Sedam. He was married to Theda (Jodi) Owen Sedam on March 8, 1981in Bay City, Texas. Tommy and his father owned a Dailly Newspaper for 31 years. He was also a builder of homes. Tommy loved sports and excelled at all, loved baseball and golf.
He is survived by his wife Jodi Sedam of Lake Proctor, TX; nine children Tommy Sedam Jr. of Bay City, Tx, David Sedam of Houston, Tx, Leigh Ann Sedam of Austin, Tx, Hank Sedam of Chicago, Illinois, Dondi and David Field of Lake Proctor, TXLesa and Don Paul of Brownwood, TX, Tracy Sciba of Bay City, Tx, Leah and Michael Fojtik of Bay City, Tx, Dana and Bill Jones of Dickerson, Tx; two sisters Linda McCulogh of Pennsylvania and Dr. Cindy Sedam of Springfield, Illinois. He has 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
