A memorial service for Tom Studdard, age 63, of Brownwood, will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.
Elmo Thomas “Tom” Studdard Jr., passed from this life into eternity on Saturday, June 22 at the Abilene Regional Medical Center. He was widely known for his witty humor, expert gunsmithing and his many hunting/fishing trips.
Tom retired from the Brownwood Regional Medical center last year after almost 40 years of faithful service to the engineering department.
He was born in Brownwood to Elmo and Ellen Studdard.Tom is survived by his wife Laura of Brownwood, his son Jason and wife Jodie of Early, his daughter Wendy and husband Chris Huggins of Brownwood and a step-son Jarrod Woods of Brownwood. He also leaves three grandchildren, Caleb and Mollee Jo Studdard of Early and Bradley Huggins of Brownwood.
He was preceded in death by his father Elmo and his sister Yvonne Smithson.
