Timothy Edward Farrar, died Sunday, May 11, 2014, in Brownwood Hospital. He was born October 20, 1951, to Willie Jo Farrar and William Thomas Farrar in Comanche, Texas.

Tim was the third son and baby of the family. He was raised by wonderful people in Comanche where he graduated from high school with many close friends. He met a young lady named Deborah Kay Duke and the two were married and they had two children. Tim lived most of his life in Comanche and was self employed with his father in the floor covering business. They carpeted many of the local schools and even some in other states, their work was their pride. Tim and Debbie were divorced in 1984 and shared custody of their two children. They ended up being very close friends and spent every holiday or celebration together, which kept everyone in the small town guessing. They were able to maintain their friendship throughout the years and the heartaches along the way. He was a Christian and a lifelong member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a son, a father, a brother and child of God. He had a sometimes troubled life, but always maintained a healthy outlook for better days to come.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Jo Farrar; father, William Thomas Farrar; brother, David Farrar; and brother, Thomas Jo Farrar.

He is father to two children, Christopher Thomas Farrar of Weatherford and daughter, Nicole Lynne Farrar of Fort Worth. He has two grandsons, Gavin Michael Farrar of Comanche and Nathaniel Thomas Farrar of Fort Worth.

A small memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church for all that want to come and celebrate the life of Tim Farrar.

In honor of Tim, the family asks that you show a random act of kindness to some-one in need. Heartland Funeral Home Early, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
