Tim Justion Bishop, age 72, of Bangs, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at his home.  He was born February 25, 1947 in Brownwood, the son of R. G. and Emma James Bishop.  He married June Reynolds and had worked as a carpenter most of his life.  He had been a resident of Bangs for the past year and lived most of his life in Brownwood.  He loved to go camping and his favorite hobby was fishing.  He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He is survived by his wife, June Bishop of Bangs, two daughters, Tina Flanning and husband Edward of Madisonville, Texas and Jennifer Ramsey of Bangs, three brothers, Norman Ray Bishop, Mike Bishop, and Dan Bishop, four sisters, Carolyn Clark, Mary Jane Hamilton, Candy K. Bishop, and Darlene Murray.  Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Billy Ray Bishop and Johnny Lee Bishop and a sister Jeannie Russell.

A memorial service of remembrance will be held at 2 pm Saturday, May 25, at the New Beginnings Church in Brownwood.  His body was cremated under the direction of Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
