Brownwood emergency responders were called to the scene of a 2-vehicle accident at the intersection of FM 45 and FM 2376 Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m. A witness reported that the white GMC Acadia was traveling south on FM 2376 and the PT Cruiser was traveling west on FM 45 when the two vehicles collided.The female driver of the Acadia appeared to have a cut on the back of her head. She along with the male and female occupants of the PT Cruiser were reported to have what appeared to be minor injuries and were planning to travel by privately owned vehicles to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of their injuries, according to law enforcement.
Both vehicles had front end damage, the Acadia mostly on the driver’s side and the PT Cruiser on the passenger side. It appeared the Acadia was turned 180° from the impact of the collision. Pictured above and below are the damaged vehicles.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Tyler Moses is investigating the accident.
Brown County Sheriff’s deputies, DPS, Brownwood Fire Department and EMS responded to the scene of the accident.
