Brown County first responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Hwy 67 West late Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m. when a Ford pickup was slowing to make a left turn at a crossover and a Pontiac sedan collided with the truck from behind. Both vehicles were damaged, as pictured above and below.According to Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Travis Hounshell, all three occupants of the truck (a male and female in their 20s and a female in her late 60s) were being transported by ambulance to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of their injuries, which appeared non-life threatening. The elderly male driver of the Pontiac appeared to be uninjured and refused transport by ambulance.
Brownwood Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Texas DPS, Allegiance Ambulance and Heart of Texas EMS responded to the accident scene.
