Brownwood natives Cameron Polaski, Rebekah Reed and Nathan Willingham have been selected as recipients of the Howard Payne University Alumni Association Scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year.
Cameron will begin his first year at HPU this fall with plans to major in musical performance. He is the son of Steve and Pam Polaski, of Brownwood.
Rebekah is a junior practical theology major. She is the daughter of Marty and Donna Reed, of Austin.
Nathan is a sophomore communication major. He is the son of Danny and Jolly Willingham, of Brownwood.
Additional scholarship recipients include: Stephanie Bailey, Lindsey Gholson, Molly Gore, Hannah McIntosh and Kathryn Riley.
The HPU Alumni Association annually awards scholarships to returning and transfer students with a 2.5 grade point average or higher and/or entering freshmen with a minimum of a āCā average. Preference is given to students whose relatives are dues-paying members of the Alumni Association or those with secondary relationships to association members.
