The Brownwood Kiwanis Club hosted their 61st annual Pancake Supper Tuesday night at the Brownwood Coliseum.  Thousands gathered for a feast of pancakes in this longstanding Election Day tradition.

Those working the event wore crazy hats and cooked from 4:30-7:30 p.m. for the hungry crowd.  Boy Scout Troop 22 members bused tables, keeping them clean and helped wait on those who needed more butter, syrup and assistance.

All money raised at the event is donated each year to local charities and programs that help support the youth of the community.

The annual Pancake Supper continues to be a favorite local event, attracting huge crowds each year.
