Howard Payne University nominated 37 students for the 2011 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. The nominees are currently college juniors or seniors.
The students were recognized recently during the university’s Servant Leadership Chapel. They were chosen based upon their scholarship ability, participation and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities, citizenship and service to HPU. Nominations were submitted by the university’s faculty and staff, and then reviewed for eligibility.
Those nominated for 2011 from HPU include: Rachael Amy, Christopher Bell, Brittany Buchanan, M. Rhea Bullock, Ciera Culpepper, Paul Deets, Cason Fikes, Chauncey Gilbreath, Leah Gonzalez, Molly Gore, Cody Hambrick, Adam Hardy, Allison Harp, Lauren Hatcher, Amanda Hendrix, Julia Hironaga, Kaitlyn Kelm, James Little, Alisha Locklear, Lindsey Lormand, Brittany Lunsford, Tabitha McBride, Michael McClure, Andrea Morgan, Stanley Morgan, Emily Nutt, Scott Perkins, Seth Pitman, Nicholas Rayburn, Kathryn Riley, Katy Sarem, Christina Todo, Jeff Toyne, Tiffany Warner, Caitlin Woodard, Robert “Chase” Woodhouse and Kaitlyn Zachary.
Students from more than 2,000 universities and colleges within the United States, the District of Columbia and several foreign nations will be honored in the annual directory. Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges has honored outstanding students since it was first published in 1934.
