Brownwood News – Three juveniles were back in custody after escaping Friday afternoon from TrueCore Behavioral Solutions in Brownwood. According to Brown County Sheriff, Vance Hill, the three escaped shortly after noon. After an extensive search within a perimeter, they were located on County Road 235, approximately three miles from the facility. A resident in the area saw the three youth walking which helped law enforcement respond quickly. Deputies McCoy and Posey apprehended all three without incident, Hill said. As of mid-afternoon Friday, two of the escapees were in the custody of Brown County Juvenile Probation. The third is 17 years-old and was in Brown County Jail. All face new charges of escape. Hill said he also appreciates Game Wardens and Early Police Department for their assistance in the search.
