Brownwood – Underwood’s Cafeteria in Brownwood will soon be a stop on The Texas Bucket List television show. The syndicated show, which airs on 22 broadcast affiliates in Texas, 4 out of state and nationally on RFD-TV, is hosted by Shane McAuliffe. The Texas Bucket List is dedicated to everything you have to see, do, and experience in the Lone Star State, and a few things every Texan should venture out to try before they kick the bucket. Shane grew up in Round Rock, Texas and spent over a decade at television stations across the state of Texas, including Abilene. “I’ve known about this place (Underwood’s) since I used to work in TV up in Abilene. Me and my girlfriend at the time used to stop by here and have a meal. Now she’s my wife of 10 years so that might have played a role in that whole deal,” McAuliffe said. The segment was filmed Tuesday, July 16th.
Shane has produced 156 episodes so far. Episode #157 begins the 13th season on August 31st. The exact date for the Underwood’s episode isn’t known as of yet, but we will let you known when the date is determined. “Our viewership has been incredible. People have really accepted the show and have enjoyed the show and that’s what means the most to me,” McAuliffe said. The Texas Bucket list airs at 5:00 pm on Sunday on KTXS-TV in our area.
