BRMC Volunteer Mary Lively was honored as the September 2014 Volunteer of the Month during the October 2014 executive board meeting of the Brownwood Regional Medical Center Volunteers. She has been a volunteer for over 18 months having joined the organization in March 2013. Mary volunteers in the gift shop at Brownwood Regional Medical Center where she enjoys meeting people and showing them the many gifts available in the gift shop. The gift shop also allows Mary to use her math skills as she is a retired math teacher.
The Volunteer of the Month award is given by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the award receive recognition and lunch at the executive board meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected. Each BRMC Volunteer of the Month recipient is recognized with a framed Volunteer of the Month certificate, a ‘Volunteers Brighten Our World!’ pin, and a ‘BRMC Volunteer of the Month’ service bar.The BRMC Volunteers are always excited to meet area individuals who are interested in becoming a volunteer.
