The ARK Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Shelter will hold its annual Mystery Dinner Theatre fundraiser, and this year’s production is “The Titanic”.
The event will take place on Saturday, February 26th at the Brownwood Country Club with a special preview party with hors d’oeuvres being served for underwriters from 5:30pm-6:30pm. A sneak preview of auction items will be included at the preview. General admission seating begins at 6:30pm with a dinner buffet at 7pm.

Entertainment will also feature live piano music and passengers may enjoy dancing if they would like. Guests are encouraged “dress the part of that era”.
The menu will be similar to that of the titanic, a first class dinner buffet featuring:
- Assorted hors d’oeuvres
- Roasted Beef
- Encrusted Beefsteak with Cream Sauce (aka Chicken Fried Steak)
- Encrusted Game Bird (aka Fried Chicken Fillets)
- Green Bean Almandine
- Rice Pilaf
- Glazed Carrots
- Mashed Potatoes
- “Iceberg” Salad Bar
- Hot Rolls & Butter
- Dessert: Unsinkable Molly Brownies w/Raspberry Sauce, Mixed Berry Buckle (Cobbler) or Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce.
Tickets resembling the original Titanic boarding passes will have an actual passenger of the Titanic’s name printed on it. Upon departure, guests can check to see if their passenger survived the sinking of the Titanic or not.
