Brownwood News – Nixon wants to be a police officer one day. Thanks to Scott Poole, DPS Officer at Howard Payne University, Nixon’s day was made Friday morning. Here is the story and photo’s shared with Brownwood News by Nixon’s mother, Rachel Tyler.
“He wants to be a police officer when he grows up because he wants to help and protect people. I dropped Sye off at HPU Young Scholars Camp and we parked right next to the campus DPS. Nixon attempted to roll his window down and talk to the officer. He ended up letting him sit in his cruiser and turn the siren and lights on. He even gave him a badge sticker and another one he gave to Hux. He then gave him a pep talk on making good choices and being a respectful boy. The joy in my little monkey’s eyes was priceless!
