Brownwood News – TexasBank recently announced that $88,000 in scholarship funds, through the James and Dorothy Doss Foundation, will be gifted to local high schools in the communities that TexasBank serves.
Institutions benefitting from these scholarship funds include Howard Payne University – $25,000; Tarleton State University – $25,000; Texas State Technical College Regents Circle – $5000; with additional scholarships totaling $33,000 being gifted to graduating high school students from Brown, Comanche, Eastland and Erath Counties. Students from school districts in Brown County include Bangs, Blanket, Brookesmith, Brownwood, Early, May and Zephyr.
