Brown County Law Enforcement officers were treated to an appreciation luncheon by TexasBank on Friday. Officials were moved to show this appreciation due to the recent shootings of officers in Dallas and in other cities across the country.
Officers from all agencies throughout Brown County were invited to attend a lunch catered by Humphrey Pete’s. Brownwood Police Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Early Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens attended.Brownwood Police Department officials stated that the luncheon was a very kind of TexasBank to serve the officers’ lunch.
“The show of support that we have received from our community is amazing. We are so proud to be a part of it all,” said Assistant Chief James Fuller. “They have been very supportive. We really appreciate it and hope to always earn that trust.”
